since putting the heating back on after the summer i have started having problems with my halstead ace boiler. the pressure keeps dropping. i have checked for leaks but cannot find any. i have topped up the pressure to between 1-1.5 but within a couple of days it has dropped below 1 again. i have turned the boiler off completely and re-started it but when i checked it again this morning, although it hasnt dropped as much it is still slightly lower-everything else seems to be working normal.
i do not have any pressure at all on my Halsted ace and when i switch it off and on soon afterwards it just boil for few second and then cut down.
Is there anyone with similar experience who can help me with this please ?

You dont have to see a leak as such it could be escaping as steam which will leave no trace of a leak. But loosing pressure in such a short period of time indicates you have a leak. If it is below the floor boards you will not see anything. Time to investigate further or call a heating engineer.
