Amstrad DRX100 - Red Light only ?

could well be faulty capacitors on the power unit.

open the box up if the capacitors which are tall round things usually blue or brown with a stripe going down the side are domed or bulging at the top it means the have blown. this is more common on the sky+ and sky+hd but the drx100 is one of the first digibox's that were made so about 10 years old so would most proberbly be your problem

Have you found an answer as mine is the same. I wounder if it is to do with the electric voltage.
