have recently fitted vaillant 438 ecotec open vent boiler. fires at full rate for aprox 20 seconds then goes to low gas rate thus taking forever to heat water and radiators any ideas.
I sure hope you are a qualified Gas engineer to fit the boiler yourself. If not get it checked ASAP or you might not wake up one morning. Stop messing with gas if you ain't qualified.
