Mend Briggs & Stratton Quantum 55 Mower Start Engine

my briggs and stratton lawn mower quantum 55 ?

My lawn mower pull start wont pull anymore and the engine just cut out, which is very unusual. I did notice that the oil level was low, so maybe its seized. Has anyone any idea what to do to fix it.

If all fails I have a brand new Quantum 55 engine at a good price. Bought for a project which was abandoned.

Before anyone can tell you how to fix it you will need to ascertain what the problem is- indeed if it has seized and scored the piston and bore then it's better just to replace the engine.
