How can i fix my Renault Megane?

heres my problem my 1998 megane ( semi - automatic )started to beep like a warning noise i was told that my clutch was slipping so i got a new 1 installed that correctly, now after fixing that solution ive occured a new problem my car wont drive at all ive looked inside the bonnet of the car and noticed the hydrolic isnt functioning properly ( i.e - sends out the clutch cable but wont retract the cable all the way all my fluids are topped up and i dont no what to do - somebody told me to reset the ecu on the car but i dont want to spend money at a dealer just incase its not the ecu - or if anybody noes how to reset the ecu id be very gratefull
