My bathroom window is locked and the square nut the handle goes into in the window is broken, do I have to replace the window or can the lock be replaced, how do you get to the lock if it is shut?

no a you dont have to buy new, double glazing repair engineer can open then fix your espag lock for you,I dont know what lock is on your window so cant tell you how to open it.hope this helps
