Mend Red Warning Light

RED WARNING LIGHT?

When i switch on my car i get a light which i dont understand and it goes out in a few seconds as does the oil light etc. It is like a Z in between a cleavage. Maybe not quite. A better discription would be a )Z( except the Z is tilted like a high voltage or electric sign. Can anyone tell me what it is? It is not even in the owners manual!!

Hi Ido,
Brake fluid is ok. Can you tell me how to make the photo available here for you to see? The light is red and looks like a bolt of lightning between 2 out-turned brackets. It only appears when the ignition is turned on and it goes out before i even turn the key further to start the engine.
