Having some difficulty getting a B@Q FLOODLIGHT TO WORK?

Thanks for your response. I am pleased to say that the unit is now fully operational.
The problem seemed to be that even although I followed the instructions implicitly for the 'walk test' during daylight hours, the unit would not do an initial switch on.
I am therefore assuming that there was must be a problem with the setting of the light detector and /or the instructions!
Anyway I adjusted the settings in the evening and everything is A okay.
But taking your advice , I purchased a small meter and your suggestion to check there was power was going to be my next course of action.

do you have the means of checking that you actually have a voltage at the light
