have a yamaha dt 100 wont start where do i start?

check that it is sparking all the time by taking the plug out and pushing it to see if sparks all the time.

check it has enough compression by putting the end of you finger in the plug hole and kicking it over it should blow you finger out if not get a new piston and get the barrel rebored rebore is about 20 quis and a piston is about 30 quid also gaskets head or base gasket could be leaking also make sure it has fresh petrol and not old stuf as it wont burn well in the engine ok adam
