Water returing back into C.H. system tank via the vent pipe?
fitted a new replacement pump but if I set on 2 or 3 the hot water enters the holding tank via the vent pipe
which means the water from the boiler does not pass through the pump at all. why? However set on one this does not happen & the rads get hot ok when
running on the one setting This does not seem right to me! can you advise? Please!!!!
is the new pump the same output and head as old 1 ?, new pumps have better output , was the old pump on same speed setting ?, it will take longer 2 heat up on speed 1 , and you might get more air and corrosion in system . could b the layout of pipework doesnt suit strength of new pump
