Is it o.k. just to top up power steering fluid?

hi mate.try it and see what happens,use the listed psf for the car, but there is a common fault on the mondeos for power steering pumps.i have replaced a few now.if the fluid level dropped u have to think the fluid has gone somewhere,try to investigate from where the fluid has gone,eg around the pump itself, and work your way down to the rack itself.

Let it rest for a while after use and then you can pour it in very slowly not to create air bubbles it is best done cold as it expands as it warms up top up to between low and high mark but you must check for leeks if its that far down use only recommended viscosity
