Mend Ford KA Ka Wifes

KA door only latches when closed gently?

Hi
My wife’s driver’s door on her Ford KA will only latch if it is closed very gently, there is no adjustment on the door lock itself, and I can seem to budge the door striker TORX screws, any advice gratefully received.
