how to fix a briggs 7straton lawn mower?

Here is a little trick to try. when it won't restart Take off the air filter assembly and blow air directly into the carb while turning it over. I am willing to bet it will start. A common cause of this problem is either fuel restriction or air restriction. Check your air filter and if it is dirty, replace it. Also there is a metal tube with a rubber boot on each end. It connects to the engine near the carb. Remove it and make sure it is not clogged. Let me know what happens
