My Diplomat adp0530 keeps going off, no power?

sounds like you have a cooling fan problem as well as an electrical fault. the unit contains two heat sensitive cut outs which cut power when it becomes too hot. so try the fan first as it is easily accessible remember to isolate both power and gas prior to dismantling. happy trails

You were spot on.

I just wish I had read your post before buying a Fan.

My oven fan was barely moving and the new fan did same.

I got a new PCB fan control direct from Stoves tel: 0871 222 2506 (who make many of the Diplomats and are first class to deal with).

It cost £21.85 including VAT and postage (received within couple of days although they say allow 14).

I now have a new spare fan for sale (£12 plus post)

Is there anywhere reasonable you can recommend for the parts, and I know I need a cogi registered fitter to re connect gas, but is the part easy to change other than that.

Hi Karen, you need to take the oven out and look at the cooling fan at the back.It is a black or grey square box fan.Turn the cooker off at the mains then on again.Does the fan stay still or turn slowly.If it is stationary then you need a new fan assy, if it turns slowly which I think it will then you need a new cooling fan pcb.It is an awkward job as the outer case needs to come off.An engineer call would be needed as you have to get the oven out and it needs a corgi fitter.
With no cooling fan, the knobs get hot and then it trips on the overheat stat. Hope this helps.All the best.
