mower will not start,battery working,cked oil and gas. Any advice?

Remove air filter and drop a tablespoon full or so of gas into the carb. If starts and dies, then it is a fuel system prob.Try spraying carb cleaner into carb and running a wire thru the carb jet.If that does no good, you may have to remove the carb and take it to be cleaned.......If didn't start on the tablespoon,then check for elec prob. Remove sparkplug,leave on wire. Lay plug down and crank for 3-4 seconds. If there is a good spark then elec is okay.If no spark then some ignition part bad,magneto (points if any),etc......Dusty10X

how old is the gas? did u check for spark? is there water in the gas? i tell u what, get access to the carb and there is a bolt, loosen if and see what kinda junk u get outta there....let me know what happens
