Heater not working in position 1, 2, Air Con not working at all?
The Car a 2004 Seat Alhambra suddenly decided not to have setting 1,2 working on fan speed.
The Air Conditioning also when selected will not work on positions 3,4,5. Any ideas anyone?
This problem is usually caused by the resistor pack for the fan motor failing. You can reach the resistor pack inside the glove compartment. There is one electrical connector and one screw fixing it in place. The pack relies on the air flow to cool it as it gets HOT, so best not run it outside the ducting. The new pack costs about £28. Not a difficult job.
