how do i service a veritas intruder home alarm?

how can i service my home alarm system,had it fitted 16 month ago,but it has been going off for no reason at night,its a veritas 8,any help would be good,thanks...

You don't have a service contract with the company that installed the alarm? Oh dear, not a good idea.

To explain what is involved in servicing an alarm system correctly and more importantly, safely, is really beyond a Q&A forum like this.

I strongly advise having the system serviced by a professional.
