How do i stop Mildew building up?

I have a stupid set up where the shower is at the back of the bath and there is a row of tiles before the bath itself. I am getting a build up of mildew on the sealant where it meets,tiles as no matter how much I dry it it still retains water. I have replaced the sealant about three times in four years and no matter how much the sealant is described as Mildew resistant it still happens and looks very unsightly. it is a very time consuming job cleaning the build up and it still looks ugly does anyone have a solution as we have purchased almost every product which claims to remove mildew to no effect and obviously need a long term solution.
