why does my hotpoint aqurius first edition ?

the presure system is probley blocked. you can find this if you take off the lid (don't forget to turn the power off 1st) and to the right hand side you will find a round switch with an air pipe atatched. you can either detatch this an blow down it to clear the presure bottle or you can follow the pipe down to the bottle remove it and clean it under the tap i would recomend this rather than blowing unless you have a good pair of lungs.

your washing machine either needs new pump but i guess the sump hose connecting to drain pump is blocked most likely with a sock!!!!!!!
