HAVE YOU INSPECTED THE SPARK PLUGS AND LEADS? ALSO CHECK UNDER THE DISTRIBUTOR CAP FOR CORROSION OF THE CONTACTS INSIDE AND WEAR TO THE ROTOR ARM. IVE HAD A CRACKED ROTOR ARM BEFORE THAT CAUSED A CORSA(N REG) TO DO THE SAME.
