Why won't my washer spin the water out ?

(washer/dryer combo) spin problem THE PUMP IS OK AND GND DONOT CLOSED

if you have young kids then you probably have a small sock stuck in the drain hose leading to the pump. take the back off unclip the plastic clip on the hose and pull the shroud off carefully. there is a plastic filter in here which may also be blocked. be carefull when taking the shroud off as water will gush everywhere. make sure you unplug the washer first. good luck.
