How To Start a snapper Mower?

hi i have a old snapper mower thats been sitting in my backyard for about 8 or so years now it is a riding mower it has the engine on the back of it with a keyhole and a pull start but i dont know how to start it im interested in finding out because i want to restore it the mower its self has to be at least 10 years old

Derek the process is simple. Make sure that the brade is disengaged, the mower is in nuetral/park, turn the key to on, set throttle to choke and pull cord. When it starts, put throttle lever to the fast setting and you are good to go. Before you try to start it check your oil level and make sure it has fresh gas. e-mail me the model and serial # and I will get you a copy of the owners manual. cholbach@yahoo.com
