Will a sat finder and sky digital dish work in france?

The group of satellites that broadcast UK programming sit over the equator at 28.2 degrees East. So you have to point at that group, just the same as in the UK.

However if you are on a different line of longitude in France, your dish will point in a different direction to that which it does in the UK.
