dmr-e85h?

i have a panasonic dmr-e85h and i read the manual over and over and i can't seem to find where to finalize it! i've checked some other online help forums and they either tell me to make sure the light is set to orange (dvd) and they say the finalize button is under the disc management. when i click the disc management menu i only see the options: disc name, disc protection and format disc. Where is finalize?
