creda contour oven failure?

First to check is the heating element itself by removing the rear liner of the oven 4 screws.- has it short circuited? corroded? welded itself together.
Secondly, check oven door switch, a small push switch that prevents the oven working when door is open.
Also, the cooker control dial may still operate the panel light and even the oven fan, but might not be switching a blown relay to send electricity to the heating element. My creda did the same, short circuiting enough to switch off all electricity in my home due to the sensitive MCBs protecting all the house wiring.
