ERROR CODE E3 DIPLOMAT ADP8224?

hi Chris, E3 on this model is unable to heat the water.This can be a few solutions, some cheap others not.Take off the plinth and the silver front cover.The wires to the heater usually white and brown.Look to see if they are burnt.If you have a meter,check the heater is okay. Look behind the heater and you will see a thermostat with a red button.Press the button,if it clicks,fault solved.You may have to buy a new one if it is black.The new one is white and eliminates nuisance tripping.If all is okay here,then it is possible that there is a fault with the pcb in the panel as this controls the heater,quite expensive.Hope this all helps.
