how do i get the pin out of my skilsaw to replace the base plate

Skil Power Tools, Circular Saws Replace Base Plate

Part of the pin for the Skilsaw Power Tool is threaded, so start to unscrew it until it doesn't come out any more and then take a punch and punch it out. Sometimes it gets locked up and won't punch out or unscrew so just put WD-40 on it and wait for a bit and try later.
