how can i fix my car r reg fiat punto?

my car wont start i drove it 2 hours b 4 and no problems drove my car off my drive i was turning it around and it cut out all the eletrics was on and was still turing over the key sign on the dash went out i also sprayed the leads with w.d.40

i now know there is no petrol getting thro to carb how can i fix it and how much will it cost and how do i get to check the petrol pump

id be more inclined to look at the ignition side of starting i.e spark plugs, ht leads, coil.

its got petrol and i have only sprayed once how do i check if there is a blockage and where is it the ecu is ok the key light goes out

You keep spraying leads with wd40 and u'r problems will have just begun.IT'S EXPLOSIVE!!Only use as a water dispersant/lubricant.OR A VERY GOOD FIRE LIGHTER.

it may be a simple lack of fuel. blockage,faulty pump,or no fuel ??
is it trying to fire up...check ur spark plug leads by pulling off a lead and short a screwdriver to earth on the engine whilst turning the engine over(dont touch the metal though with your hand) if it sparks your ok there.next try a plug in the same way,if the plug doesnt spark then there goosed,if there black and sooty ur motors running too rich,fit new plugs and an air filter. failing that if no spark then its probs an ecu issue or a loose wire somewhere.
