power devil table saw start problem?

I have a devil table saw the problem is when you press start button the blade spins around but will not cut any timber been told it may be helical wheel tooth worn can this be replaced ? If so where from

It is the switch. It is a soft-start switch and the only fix is to get one....if you can.
I'm in contact with B&Q's spares dept. at the moment and it's a bit slow and negative up to now. If you go on the B&Q homepage you'll find the route from there. These were built only for B&Q and there is no web contact for them as they are just a 'name' for one of B&Q 'companies'.

A complete switch assembly cost me £5.74 inc.
