1998 vauxhall vectra sump oil plug?

how can I get the sump plug out it just keeps turning.its been like this since I bought the car.seems like the thread has stripped.Thanks.

the threads not stripped, the female star has deformed, buy a new SUMP PLUG (EBAY),take the car to a
garage (independant, not dealership)for an oil change,and ask them to fit the new sump plug.
