As you say so little about your TV, your question is not answerable.
However if the TV is not very old, take it back to Argos for a refund. Don't worry about receipts as Mikomi is an Argos Own Brand and so you MUST have bought it from them. Second when you bought it you will have filled in a TV Licensing form which the shop will have a copy of.
