yanmar diesel smoking?

I have a 9 HP aircooled yanmar diesel - it blows big clouds of black and grey smoke when it starts and can not control speed -- how do I repair --I have replaced rings and head gasket and compression are good .

sounds like an injector not holding pressure,should open about 1000 psi,.mine was leaking and opened at about 400psi,a sod to start smoked all the time running

I think u have to adjust the fuel flung and air>
because i've same problem in my engine 37hp
