Whirlpool AWM328 Detergent drawer leaking?

My Whirlpool AWM328 has developed a small leak from the underside of the detergent drawer, which runs down the front of the machine to the floor. I have removed the drawer to look for the source of the leak but can see nothing obvious. Any ideas?

I realise that this is a little late, but it may help other people with the same problem. I had exactly the same problem with our own machine and this is how I fixed it.

Disconnect the machine from the mains power supply.
You need to loosen the front panel of the machine. Do not take it off completely just take out the screws and move the panel to one side while still attached to the door seal.

Under the detergent tray there is a black pipe connecting the tray to the front of the washing machine drum. It is possible that this pipe needs replacing or that the hole where the pipe enters the washing machine has worn larger (as it was in my case). Replacing the pipe is quite straight forward, just reverse what you did to remove it.

Before buying a replacement pipe it is worth while to clean thoroughly and to dry it. Make a careful inspection looking for any holes or abrasions on the pipe.

In my case after carefully checking the pipe and finding no fault with it, I checked the hole where the pipe fits into the machine and could it to be a loose fit.

I ensured that all parts were completely dry and reassembled the pipe to the machine. I then applied a liberal amount of bathroom grade silicon sealer in and around the area where the pipe enters the machine. Left it for 24 hours to harden and the machine has not leaked since.

Thank was two years ago now and still no problems.

If the little green divider is still in the front of the soap dispenser it will leak. Removing it will resolve it.
