2 yr old kenmore progressive powermate,roller/agitator won't roll?

I'm assuming that you've checked to make sure that the belt is not broken... Check the place on the handle on your hose where the electrical prongs coming up from the wand would normally fit into the female portion of the connector. Is the connector flush with the edge of the plastic handle housing or is it pushed in so that the prongs can't meet it correctly? If this is the problem, disassemble the handle, (AFTER UNPLUGGING UNIT) and superglue the connector back into proper position and reassemble handle. viola!
