LG WM-1171FHB overflows and does not drain?

My LG washing machine stopped with a !E fault code and then overflowed with a FE code.
Any ideas what the problem might be?

Most machines have a draining hole at the front of the machine on the bottom right.It is about 2 1/2" and round, turn anti clockwise to open this but be aware water gushes out everywhere!! as sometimes this gets blocked as its sort of a filter (mine normally ends up with coins in!!!)
