If that doesn't work, turn off the power, reset the clock and the timer should be back as normal.

Hi Ruth, does your timer have 5 or 6 buttons on the electronic timer? If it has press the timer button and the plus for 1 minute.When it bleeps press the minus button once and if it is not loud enough, press it again while it is bleeping.When it is loud enough press the manual or timer button to stop it.All the best.
