how do i increase the pressure in my boiler?

Hi, I have a worcester CDi boiler, about 9 years old. I recently had some building work done where they had to take a radiator off the wall, and the pressure of my boiler has dropped to just below 1. Although my heating and hot water are fine at the moment i'm a little concerned as I have no idea how to re-pressurise it. I have a key thing which i have put in (trying to follow the installation book), but i cannot turn the grey knob to the right, it won't move at all, plus i'm a bit worried about breaking it. In other messages about pressurising people have mentioned a filling valve or something. I have nothing that looks remotely like that, all i have are copper pipes coming to it. Sorry if I haven't been making any sense, but if anyone could help that would be great.

Your boiler has an internal filling loop, which is where you put the key in and turn the grey knob/tap. Because of this, the installer will not have installed a (normal) filling loop which you have read about. If you turn off the cold mains to your house (main stop tap/usually under the kitchen), open all you cold tap downstairs, then upstairs, you can then have a good play with the grey tap under the boiler, without causing a major leak. try giving it a good "tap" with a wooden spoon or something else other that a big hammer. Or use a tea towel to get a better grip an the tap. Also, make sure you are turning it the correct way to open the tap, its on the bottom of the boiler so its up-side-down.
