Mend Schott Ceran Ceramic Cracked Replace

ceramic cooker top?

The ceramic cooker top has just cracked. We had a frying pan on one ring, but nothing dropped on it, and we were the other side of the room. Can just the ceramic top be replaced as the rings seem intact? It is a Ceran schott.

Hi Sue, Ceran /Schott is the maker of the glass.You will be able to relace just the glass but they are usually as much as a new hob.If you have accidental damage on your household insurance policy this may cover it.All the best.
