how can i fix my car immobiliser on a rover 400?

i have a rover 400sdi only got one key with car and have been using it the past to years to lock and unlock replaced battery last week and havent been able to start the car have got the key codes from main dealer but it dosnt work has anybody any ideas on how to bypas immobiliser help please
