My MP3 player does not turn on when i insert a battery, but when hooked up to the computer by usb..it works fine. its a powerdata 256 mb mp3 player..

have you dropped it? but any way it looks like its your battery right enough check there is no rust and if there is try to rub and scrape it off if nothing happens you need to get to a shop that will help or get proffesinoal help if someone charges you more than £2 they are ripping you off it is a really cheap job
