rubber seal?

the rubber seal on the drum has come away and i have i have what looks like a metalelastic band any ideas how to fix it

The seal should locate on a groove on the front of the drum the band will go over the seal to hold it in place.

Take care that the machine is unplugged from the mains before you reach inside.
