How can I stop my bathroom light turning on bedroom light?
I had an old ugly fluorescent 2nd light in my bedroom which has a pull switch to turn it on. I took it down and replaced it with a normal pendulum light switch. It seemed to work fine until I turned the bathroom light on. This caused both the bathroom light and my new light to flicker on and off. Any suggestions how I can fix this?
JJ if you can WORK THIS ONE OUT,,,,Why the hell bother to post a Question you Muppet.

sounds to me that you have sent your power via the switch to the bedroom light. this could only happen if the bedroom light was the last in the circuit. you need to determine which are the wires from the switch to the bathroom light and which feeds in and out of the bathroom light then on to the bedroom. you need a multimeter and some good electrical knowledge to do this. I would also advise that you get an electrician as without knowledge you stand a slim chance of fixing the problem and less chance of staying alive!!!

Ha Ha. Very good. If I had faith in the workmen today... but too many bad experiences. They are only good at charging. I expect I can work this one out for myself.
