Feed pipe supost to be red hot?

sounds likely that either the pipe is blocked in and around the air seperator or the pump has seized. Is the water in the small tank likely in the loft full of water? if so its more of an indication of the blockage. Ideally draining the system from the lowest point will confirm how bad blockage is, after water stops flowing if tank is still full then you have your answer. If drain works well and all empties then pump could be faulty
