How do I remove rear window winders, vauxhall, vectra?

this is a fantastic reply, i have just found this thread, but i used a shoe lace instaed, and ping off it came :)) cheers

Paul,

You window winders are held on by metal circlips. The problem is they are difficult to get to and you cant see them.

The easiest way to get them off is to run a piece of rag behind the winder and move the rag from side to side - the rag will catch on the circlip and remove it, so the handle can be removed.

Be careful though as the circlip will spring off.
