Mend PYE Tv Instruction Remote

tune in a PYE TV?

Just been given a PYE TV, no instruction book, nothing on tele to use to tune in, only the remote which appears very remote !! On pressing menu button, brightness, contrast, sound etc comes up but nothing else obvious to use, can someone help me mother in law?

if your remote has button on left and right connected by line try pressing both at once
