I have a MTD Yard Machine riding mower. It runs fine, but when you let out on the brake it cuts off. Can someone tell me what is making it cut off? HELP
Most likely cause is a faulty seat safety switch. The purpose of this is to cut the engine if you get off the seat with either the cutters engaged OR the brake off. If the switch is faulty, it will 'think' you have 'abandoned ship' and cut out.
