renewal of fuel filter?

1.. got fuel??
2.. did you undo anything you havent put back??
3.. put it on right way round(may have arrows)??
4.. turn ignition on but dont start it...can u hear pump working(has to pump through the air in system)...now try starting it
5.. Take out a spark plug...is it "wet"?? then you are getting fuel, if its a diesel the pump needs priming..read the car handbook
6.. Any haynes manual will give you ideas but better the manual for your car else can only suggest AA/RAC
