When turning on my pc monitor flashes then nothing tried all the fault finding techniques in the manual but still nothing

More than likely it is the PSU (power supply unit) has gone faulty , as it happened to mine just on warranty,I had the flickering, I got repaired then it went again a year later I still have not go it repaired yet and I am also looking for clues how to get the cover off as I have tried in vein.

It could be some of the capacitors they fit are to lower voltage so they get hot a pop.
