Mend Hotpoint WMA40 Bearings Drum Loud Noise

can i mend my hotpoint wma40 washing machine ?

i have a hotpoint aquarius wma40 washine machine when on spin itis really loud like a jet engine i have a lot of play in the drum so assumed it was the bearings would i be able to fix it or is it better to get an engineer out? or am i as well to buy a new machine.
pleeze help as its getting worse every day.

changing the bearings is an awkward and expensive job. If they are worn out then I assume you have had your machine for a while.

Perhaps now the time to buy something new
