renault laguna 02 plate knocking at rear?

Did mine the old fashion way hammer and drift. no probs at all refitting same way take your time get it straight job done

Easy peasey. Look on eBay for the bush + fitting tool ("Laguna rear bush tool), will be around £100 for two bushes and one tool as a kit. If you (or know someone who) can change brakes you can do the bushes. Forget heat and hammering as there are ABS sensor wires, brake pipes and fuel lines around, with the tool it's an easy:
(1) Jack up the car by the jack point (wheel drops).
(2) Wheel off
(3) unclip wires and pipes near the subframe/body (easy)
(4) 2nd jack under the subframe (supporting only)
(5) undo the four bolts holding the subframe around the bush.
(6) lower the subframe away (lower the 2nd jack).
(Note - the coil spring might drop out, careful!)
(7) use the toll to push out the old bush, clean the hole then use the toll to push in the new bush, easy.
(8) rebuild reverse of stripping and go do the other dise.

2hr job start to finish. Don't forget to check all wires and pipes clipped back in place.

u can change dem wivout special tool buh its kind of hard u ave to heat it n bang it wiv hammer to get dem in takein out isnt a problem u always can cut dem electronic saw buh tool dont cost u alot nemore u can buy tool wiv bushes for onli 100 pounds from ebay n u dont ave to take da sub frame out if u r using proper tool coz i ave changed it in both way wiv n wivout tool so i recommend u to use proper tool for dat its easy n take lesser tym rest is upto u

Hi Denise.
Had mine done 3 month ago. £300 at renault dealer, 3hrs + parts. was going to be £400. Dropped price when i told them a local garage could do it for £300. (Did'nt tell them i would have to buy the special tool for £150 so local garage could do it for me.) You have to haggle prices. If you dont buy special tool which lets you do the job on the car, then axle has to come off and remove/replace Bushes on a Bench press. More trouble than its worth.

hi there if you mean the rear axle bushes then they should not charge more than 2.5 to 3.0 hours labour .
